In addition to maintaining the agility of the Vitpilen and Svartpilen models, the 2024 machines boast a reinforced steel trellis frame. Both bikes are equipped with WP suspension and a lightweight aluminium swingarm to enhance handling further. The longer wheelbase and new frame contribute to improved cornering performance and stability, while also resulting in a revised seat height (See tech. spec. below). The Vitpilen models have been upgraded with lighter handlebars for increased responsiveness. A brand new engine family powers the 2024 range, meeting EURO 5+ standards and featuring improved weight distribution and a modified gearbox.
The Vitpilen 401 and Svartpilen 401 are both equipped with a 399 cc, 45 hp, single-cylinder engine housed in the steel trellis chassis. These motorcycles are claimed to offer a thrilling and versatile ride in urban and beyond environments. The new Vitpilen and Svartpilen models share cutting-edge technology, such as cornering MTC, switchable ride modes, adjustable WP suspension, ByBre brakes, and Bosch cornering sensitive ABS for powerful stopping. The clutchless gear changes made possible by Easy Shift technology add ease to the riding experience. Boasting premium features such as a 5″ bonded glass TFT display, stunning paint finish with decals, and sleek 17″ wheels, the unmistakable style of the Vitpilen and Svartpilen models is complete.
