Husqvarna reveals new Svartpilen 125 roadster

Austrian/Swedish factory Husqvarna has just announced that’s its producing a new learner legal version of its Svartpilen roadster.

The futuristic Svartpilen 401 was released by Husky back in 2018 – and was followed up a year later by a bigger, more powerful 701 version.

And now the KTM derived machines have been joined by a new, small capacity version; the Svartpilen 125.

Perfect for cutting through town traffic or hitting the open road, the baby Svartpilen’s will surely be a hit with learners far and wide – thanks to its punchy but unintimidating 125cc motor, nimble handling and frugal fuel consumption.

Weighing in at 146kg, the Svartpilen 125 is well kitted out for a learner machine too – with hydraulic ByBre brakes, a Bosch ABS system, WP APEX 43 mm open cartridge forks, WP APEX rear shock and it also gets a pair of 17” spoked wheels which come clad with Pirelli rubber. And with its unique styling it’s sure to turn heads wherever you go too.

Available in UK dealers from February 2021, the Husqvarna Svartpilen 125 will set punters back a fairly hefty £4,499 – but with tried and tested KTM derived technology and a solid reputation for reliability and durability, it’s surely worth the money.
