Planning to finally take the bike to the Nürburgring for a public track day this year? Well, you’re out of luck. The famous road circuit in the Black Forest has been making noises about safety of bikes and cars for years now, and has finally acted, banning two-wheelers from the ‘Tourist-Fahren’ public access days.
There will now only be a few organised private events open to bikers each year, and the dubious pleasures of Karussel, Flugplatz and Schwedenkreuz will be missed by many. A shame for sure.
