The Kazakhstan Grand Prix has been cancelled, leaving 20 races on the card for 2023.
The homologation procedures remaining incomplete at the circuit, alongside ‘global challenges’, means that the organizers have pulled the Kazakhstan Grand Prix from their 2023 MotoGP agenda.
FIM, IRTA and Dorna have declared the scrubbing of the Grand Prix of Kazakhstan from the 2023 MotoGP calendar; this being the eighth race of the season, planned for July 7-9. This decision was made due to ‘global challenges’ in addition to homologation proceedings which are in progress at the track – thus, rendering it unfeasible to complete preparations by the stipulated date.
