The Indian motorcycle media has hinted that Jawa is gearing up to start selling bikes in Europe.
Jawa has been going from strength to strength following its relaunch in India last year. And now, the historic Czech brand is rumoured to be readying bikes for the European market.
Jawa was bought by Indian automotive giant Mahindra (who also own BSA and Peugeot Motorcycles) back in 2016 – but up to this point it has been focusing its attentions on Asia. But after a successful brand launch and a huge amount of dealer support, Jawa is now preparing three bikes for European export; the Jawa Forty Two, Classic and Pérak.

Well, that’s what the Indian motorcycle media’s saying anyway – and as it’s rare that they’re too far off the mark, we’re fairly confident we’ll see some Jawa’s on British soil sooner rather than later. Of course, there’s still been no official news from the factory – but we’d bet on them making an appearance at the big bike shows at the end of the year at the latest.
