Pictures have emerged of the finished version of the TVS Apache 200 – an India-only motorcycle that’s the latest output as a result of the working between TVS and BMW.
We’ve already seen the G310R at the tail end of last year and this TVS shares a lot of cosmetic touches with its German cousin. But this 200 is going to stay away from Europe, despite looking like it’d sell extremely well in beginner’s markets over here.

What is clear from these images is that the new bike is virtually ready to launch. The bike will make 22bhp and kick out 22Nm of torque, it comes with a five-speed gearbox. It also sits on Angel GT rubber.
It would certainly be easier for BMW to take this sort of motorcycle and scale it down to 125cc-type output for very little extra outlay, and if that happens then you can be sure that the learner-legal 125cc BMW would make it over here for UK buyers.
