Energica and Dell’Orto join forces to develop ELECTRIC tech for small capacity bikes.

Dell’Orto has signed an agreement with Energica to develop and produce electric ‘Power Units’ for small and medium-sized motorcycles for the next three years.

The duo are betting on significant growth in the small/medium electric vehicle market – and have joined forces to get in on the action. Together, they’re creating power units for small and mid-sized electric bikes. But the tech’s not just going to be used by Energica. The companies are gearing up to offer technologically-advanced solutions to major manufacturers – combining Energica’s unique know-how with Dell’Orto’s design skills and international reach.

Livia Cevolini, CEO of Energica Motor Company said: “Thanks to the know-how acquired and recognised internationally, Energica aims to start the development of this motorisation, expanding our offer with a large volumes segment with high potential growth in the world. Our teams are already working on new solutions to meet the new market demands.”
