Flying Flea: From Royal Enfield

One thing you can’t accuse Royal Enfield of is underselling its heritage (and rightly so). The firm’s British ancestor firm built small, folding 125cc R.E. model motorbikes for Allied paratroopers in the Second World War, nicknamed the Flying Flea. They were dropped into battle alongside the soldiers, giving quick, easy field transport and communications in the hours and days before proper reinforcements arrived.

And now Enfield’s reused the name for a new electric sub-brand: Flying Flea. The firm showed off its first prototype electric urban mobility machine, the Flying Flea C6 roadster and S6 scrambler. Both bikes have a striking design, with belt drive, girder front end and minimalist styling. There’re no more tech details – but expect to see them in production from early 2026.
