In addition, the bikes are our first foray into the EV market, supporting us on our way to becoming a global electric motorcycle leader”
The compact Can-Am Pulse is ideal for city riding, thanks to its nimble design. With four different riding modes – Normal, Sport+, ECO, and Rain – riders can easily switch between options based on location, personal preference, and weather conditions. Additionally, the Pulse boasts an Active ReGen system that improves control and offers a smoother deceleration while returning power back to the battery. For those looking to add a touch of style to their ride, the optional Pulse 73 trim pays homage to Can-Am’s motorcycle heritage with LED lighting, LinQ gauge spoiler, and signature paint and badging.

Utilizing the iconic Can-Am DNA and extensive motocross heritage, the Can-Am Origin has been engineered to excel both on pavement and off-road terrain. Its lightweight construction includes a frame-integrated battery, resulting in improved agility and reduced weight for a superior ride experience regardless of the landscape. Additionally, the Active ReGen system offers enhanced control with six drive modes that adapt throttle response, traction control, and ABS settings to suit any ride. Among these modes are two designed specifically for off-road use, seamlessly transitioning the bike from road to rugged terrain with ease. Riders also have the option to upgrade their experience with features like LED lights, a LinQ windscreen, and custom paint and badging through the “Origin 73” trim package.
The Can-Am Pulse and Can-Am Origin are designed with the user in mind, catering to both inexperienced and experienced riders. With no clutch or transmission, riders can effortlessly accelerate and enjoy a high-end riding experience by just twisting the throttle. Moreover, the reverse feature eliminates the need for manually pushing the bike into place.
Rotax E-Power unit
Both the Can-Am Pulse and Can-Am Origin are equipped with BRP’s latest electric technology, the Rotax E-Power power unit. This advanced system offers immediate torque when needed and ensures a quiet, smooth ride with minimal vibrations. It also delivers precise power in tight, low-speed conditions.
Both bikes also feature a resilient 8.9 kWh battery, giving the Can-Am Pulse an approximate city range of 160 km (100 miles), and the Can-Am Origin an estimated city range of 145 km (90 miles).
Liquid-cooled system
The Can-Am motorcycle range sets itself apart from other electric motorbikes due to its revolutionary liquid-cooled system, which incorporates the battery, charger, inverter, and motor. This advanced system effectively mitigates battery deterioration over time and enhances both range and charging speed, allowing users to spend more time riding and less time recharging. In fact, these bikes can quickly charge from 20 percent to 80 percent in just 50 minutes when utilizing Level two charging at home or at automotive charging stations.
