Tens of thousands attended the Fully Charged Live 2023 show across the first May bank holiday weekend, including NIU.
NIU is the world’s top-selling electric mobility manufacturer. It’s full UK range was on display at the show earlier this month, from the compact MQi+ Sport through to a Matte Orange MQi GT EVO with a unique surf-board rack, to highlight how riders can adapt their machines to suit their needs.
NIUs participation in the 2023 Fully Charged Live Show demonstrated the importance of the UK market. NIU is represented by a network of over 25 UK dealers, and has an ever-growing community of riders with over 4000 active riders in the UK and over 100,000 worldwide.

Test rides were fully booked all weekend, and the MQi GT EVO was a fan favourite, racking up over 60 miles of test rides on a single charge while out accelerating all other scooters at the show. YouTuber @TechJamo was among them, exclaiming “Oh, Damn!” when trying out Sport Mode, as was Journalist @thesustainabledad proving just how manoeuvrable the EVO is when compared to the other electric cars out on the test track, breezing by when traffic came to a standstill.
“Fully Charged Live 2023 has been a resounding success for our team and NIU, we’ve been non-stop with visitors and test rides all weekend!” said Tom-Scott-Roberts, Marketing Manager. “With the stand being at the heart of the indoor exhibition space, it was great to be in the company of other prestigious brands like EON (featuring the BMW iX), Anderson EV (featuring the Porsche Panamera) and MyEnergi (featuring the McMurtry Speirling).”
