Electric performance motorcycle manufacturer Sur-Ron’s latest e-bike lands in the UK this week.
The first units of the 2023 Ultra Bee arrive in official Sur-Ron dealerships in the UK this week, after first being revealed in October of last year.

At the heart of the Ultra Bee is Sur-Ron’s 4th-generation powertrain system, which has been uniquely designed for the Ultra Bee platform with a PMSM motor and full isolated electrical architecture for an interference-free ride. The Ultra Bee combines a 74V/55AH battery pack with a 12.5KW / 440Nm torque drivetrain.
There are three different riding modes – eco, daily and sport mode.
The Ultra Bee’s top speed is 56mph, and the e-bike goes from 0 to 30mph in 2.3 seconds. On full charge it has a maximum range of 87 miles, and the maximum recharge time is four hours.
Sur-Ron says that Qiulong’s concept of “Balancing on the Cutting Edge” was kept in mind during the design process.
The Ultra Bee is available in two model variants: Ultra Bee T (trials variant – homologated for road use), and the Ultra Bee X (off-road variant).
The Sur-Ron Ultra Bee X has an MSRP of £6,299.00, whilst the Ultra Bee T has an MSRP of £6,699.00 and will start to arrive in official UK dealers this month. Prices include VAT.
