Jason Momoa celebrated Father’s Day by releasing a short film of him rebuilding a Harley-Davidson sidecar outfit with his kids.
Game of Thrones and Aquaman star Momoa’s been associated with bikes for a while, and in the past he’s been snapped on a Harley-Davidson Softail, a BMW R nineT Scrambler and a range of custom cruisers. But now he’s decided to build his own.
In the eight-minute film, Momoa enlists his kids and a handful of close community friends to help him build a Harley-Davidson sidecar outfit – which he now calls his ‘family heirloom’. Speaking about the project, he said: “It’s just really my story. It’s something that’s very dear for me. And just being able to do that with my children . . . I never really grew up with that, I was from a single mother who taught me many, many, many things but I didn’t grow up with a father-figure who I was wrenching on cars with. The biggest thing I’m trying to do for my children is just let them have their imagination, their creativity and to let that flourish.”
