Whilst it might be seen by some to be little more than a bit of public image damage limitation following the articles about the previously-planned cancelled outing to H-D (cancelled because of fears of public protests nearby, apparently), members of the Trump administration clearly wanted this pressing-the-flesh opportunity to get out to the worldwide audience to show some solidarity between the stiff-haired one and a random collection of people who ride heavy motorcycles made by an American firm.
The puzzlingly bland footage has appeared on Fox 11 Los Angeles and shows Trump shaking hands, chatting to some Harley riders and then joking with the waiting press people.
“Are you going to ride a bike, Mr President?” one jocular journo asks.
“Boy wouldn’t you like to see me fall off one of these things!” the hilarious Trump responds before wandering off with Vice President Mike Pence.
