Ok, so this is effectively an advert for an upcoming three-part mini-series Harley and the Davidsons that will be shown on the Discovery channel, but what a cool video it is! 360-degree view of motordrome racing from early 20^th century. Just drag the video to change the view – it’s awesome!

This about as close as you can get to experiencing the rush of early 20th century motorcycle racing. Being broadcast over three consecutive nights in September, the six-hour-long film tells the story of how Harley-Davidson began with the familiar tale of William Harley and Arthur Davidson getting together to build what were (at the time) outrageously rapid racing motorcycles in the early 1900s.

Former EastEnders star Daniel Coonan is playing the part of William ‘Big Bill’ Davidson, brother of Arthur and Walter Davidson, Annie Read from The Haunted Life plays Caroline Jacthuber who eventually becomes Bill’s wife.
