French fashion guru’s first XJR1300 custom appears

How about this for a custom XJR1300 with loads of fashion-cred then?

This bike has been built by Atelier 5 (a bespoke clothing-maker brand) and bike builders Flash 76.

It’s the brainchild of Thierry Langlois, the french stylist who’s previously steered the collections of Lanvin, YSL and Thierry Mugler. This is the first motorcycle project from Atelier 5 and – pretty predictably – the bike was apparently conceived to be something like Steve McQueen’s scrambler in The Great Escape.

OK, so in reality it’s not that much like the famous movie motorcycle, but it is done well and is one of the most delicately finished customs we’ve yet seen on the XJR1300. What do you think? Do you like this?
