Awesome grass-drag racing Triumph Scrambler breaks cover

This Triumph Scrambler special has been put together by specials builders JvB and LSL to race in the next Tridays event in 2016.

The Tridays is one of the largest motorcycle events in Europe. It’s held every year in the Austrian town of Neukirchen, and organizer Uli Brée traditionally reveals a one-off custom to celebrate. This year, he’s enlisted the help of Jochen Schmitz-Linkweiler of LSL and Jens vom Brauck of JvB-Moto to turn out this gorgeous hunk of metal.

Called The Rumbler, the bike is based on a Triumph Scrambler (natch) and has been built to take place in the Tridays Rumble – a 400 metre sprint race on grass which is open to all comers.

The bike is largely stock except for sharper steering geometry, a Magura Supermoto brake set-up with 4-piston calipers and a huge radial master cylinder.

An Arrow high-performance exhaust adds some growl and performance and the bike’s healdight, fenders, side panels and bench seat are all from the JvB shop.
