It’s a scale model (that works) of a Harley-Davidson Panhead engine.
Made by modeler Ron Colonna (pictured below) as a one-off in his home model shop, the motor starts and runs on its plinth, but the best bit is the sound it makes.
It’s perfect in every detail and has to be the first time anyone can get a genuine-sounding H-D motor in a backpack. Very cool indeed.
