Here’s a couple of specials from Indian bike dealers that have caught our eye – mainly because they’re so well done.
Both of these bikes are made from the TVS Apache 200 donor bike. The 12v power supply, upright fairing and various Adventure-type add-ons make the small-capacity bike a real looker in this pic snapped on the back of a dealer’s delivery truck – Adventure dealer special!
Yesterday we saw this, a fully-faired version of the same 200 using the TVS/BMW derived 197.75cc 4-stroke, 4-valve single cylinder motor that makes 20bhp @ 8,500rpm.
The stock bike weighs in at 149kg – that’d be a bit more with the two different ‘customised’ bits bolted on, but we still like them.
We know that TVS is releasing a pulla 300cc version of a mini-superbike next year, we’ve seen this great-looking design of that bike which is based on the G310R naked roadster which TVS co-made with BMW in India. The excellent crew at Rushlane.com made this illustration, below:
Funky stuff all-round eh? We want to see both the Adventure and 200cc faired dealer custom bikes on sale soon, please.
