Indian bike journos are speculating that KTM-owned Husqvarna Motorcycles might start to manufacture bikes in India.
Bajaj Auto, which has a large stake in KTM, is anticipated to start manufacturing Husqvarna models at their manufacturing plant in Chakan, India.
Apparently the Husqvarna models destined to be manufactured are the Vitpilen and the Svartpilen, which were first displayed as concepts at the 2015 EICMA show in Milan. If the reports are accurate, this would mean that the bikes could see the light of day in 2017.
The concepts looked awesome, so having the production bikes rolling off the production line soon would be great. We’ll let you know as soon as we hear more about this.
