BMW has launched its new versions of the F700GS and F800GS in Milan at the EICMA event.

Both models get a new tank cover and new ignition lock cover, BMW says that there’s new knee covers (F 700 GS) and radiator cover (F 800 GS).
Newly designed two-colour seats round off the look. The F700GS and F800GS also gets five possible seat heights with four seats and the optional lowered suspension (ex works option). This makes for a wide seat height range of 765 mm – 860 mm (F 700 GS) and 820 mm – 920 mm (F 800 GS).
Both bikes keep the same 798cc, liquid-cooled 4-valve 2-cylinder engine with fuel injection and 6-speed gearbox. In the F700GS output is 75bhp @ 7,300rpm and develops a maximum torque of 77Nm @ 5,300rpm. In the F800GS, ouput is 85hp @ 7,500rpm and a torque of 83Nm @ 5,750rpm.
The bikes are fitted as standard with the BMW Motorrad ABS system. Other safety-related features are the optional Automatic Stability Control ASC and the Electronic Suspension Adjustment ESA.
