R&G and its supported rider, Peter Hickman, are auctioning the knee sliders he used to set the Fastest Newcomer Lap Record at the Isle of Man TT this year, with all proceeds going to the Karl Harris Memorial Fund.
Hickman used the R&G Knee Sliders (usual rrp £25.99) for the North West 200 and then when he made his headline-grabbing debut at the TT this summer, setting an incredible 129.104mph lap to become the fastest newcomer ever around 37.73 mile circuit.
The sliders have both been signed by Hickman, with the lap record speed also added. The auction on eBay.co.uk will last for ten days, starting now and finishing on July 6, with no reserve and the sliders can be posted to anywhere in the world.

Karl Harris won three British Supersport titles between 2001 and 2004 before moving on to Superbikes, with his best result coming in 2006 when he finished fifth overall. He was killed was killed in the Superstock TT this year after an accident involving another rider. All monies from the auction will go to the fund that has been set up for Karl’s two children, Carl Junior (7) and Ella Mae (5),
Alan Garrett, R&G UK Sales Manager said: “We had the pleasure of working with Karl a few times over his career through various teams and he was always a pleasure to be around. When we mentioned the idea of auctioning the knee sliders to Peter, he was more than ‘up for’ the idea. Hopefully they will contribute to the already incredible amount that fans have raised for the Karl Harris SoFund.”
Peter Hickman, returning to British Superbike action at Knockhill this weekend, said: “Karl was one of the good guys. Motorcycle racing is a relatively small community and his accident at the TT was hard for everyone in the paddock. I just hope the auction raises as much money as possible for his children.”
