Motoparking units provide bikers with a secure locking system for their bikes and a storage unit to store all their safety equipment meaning it doesn’t need to be carried around.
Toni Impieri, Managing Director of Motoparking UK says, “We are very grateful for all the support we have received and proud that the first units are installed in Chelmsford. Over one million registered motorbike riders are in UK and once we see these units spread across the country I’m confident that bikers won’t have to compromise on safety equipment and will go some way in saving the lives in the future.”
Since the company launch in Italy in 2009, Moto Parking has grown from a concept to a fully fledged product line installed and is being trialed in many European cities.
The unit comes equipped with security chains and a closet container which can be used to store your helmet, jacket and gloves and secured with your own padlock. There are two options available – the City unit has 85 litres of storage and the Touring has a whopping 245 litres.

What do you think? Is this the solution to encouraging more people to ride to work on two-wheels?
