It seems like all the big names in cool motorcycle kit are showcasing retro-inspired products for 2020 – and here’s one of our top picks; Arai’s new Rapide neo-retro helmet.
It taps into popularity of all things retro in the motorcycling world at the minute – taking obvious inspiration from the iconic Japanese factories lids from the 1980s. That means there are grill-style chin venting, an extra-rounded shell and some awesome graphics with the original Arai logo front and centre.
Of course, that old-school styling hides a thoroughly modern lid – with bang-up-to-date composite shell construction and a QD visor system.

Priced at £449.99 for the plain model and £529.99 for one with a cool graphic, it’s by no means a cheap bit of kit – but it’s an Arai, so you can rest assured it’s going to look after your head in the best possible way. We’ve got one coming in on test, so we’ll be sharing our thoughts on Arai’s latest lid in the coming months. For more information, click HERE.
