These great screen grabs of a leaked video have appeared on the excellent American website Asphalt&Rubber – and because they show you so much of the upcoming Zero SR/S fully faired electric bike (unveiled officially in the next few days), we figured we’d show you them.

Basically, the bike is a SR/F naked bike with full bodywork whacked on. A&R broke the story last year with a spy shot of the bike road testing in its home of Santa Cruz, California.

So the main differences between the F and the S bikes are the bodywork (natch) higher bars, lower pegs and a bigger seat. A&R thinks that, mechanically at least, the two variants of the bike will be the same with 82 miles of range from the claimed 14.4kWh battery pack on the current SR/F. The new bikes should cost around the same as the S version too (in excess of $20,000).

So if there’s little difference in the bikes other than riding position and bodywork, what do you reckon to the bodywork? A bit 1990s Ducati bulbous isn’t it?
