Kawasaki’s just released a video which shows the journey of its GPZ900R over the years. Could it be the first hint that we’re going to see a new version for 2020?
Rumours have been swirling for a while now about the possibility of Kawasaki releasing a new version of its iconic GPZ900R – and the Japanese factory has just released a short video which hints that there might be something going in the background.
Following the success of its Z900RS H1 replica in addition to a new soon to be released Top Gun film, it’s certainly not much of a stretch to imagine that Kawasaki’s been quietly working on a reimagined version of its Ninja GPZ900R.
Our pals over at Young Machine in Japan have even mocked up a digital rendering of what it might look like, if/when it makes it to market. Fingers crossed, eh? Click HERE to check out the original story from earlier in the year.
Of course, it’s all speculation at this stage – but we can’t see Kawasaki going to the trouble of knocking up a video for no reason. We’ll just have to sit tight for the time being and wait and see what emerges over the coming months.
