Leaked documents from a KTM management meeting have revealed that there will be three new road bikes in the Gas Gas range for 2020.
Based around bikes from KTM’s current range, the presentation slide indicates we’ll see a 250cc and 800cc naked, as well as an 800cc adventure bike. Pretty cool.
It’s more than likely that little 250cc naked will be based around KTM’s Duke 250, which is currently distributed in the Asian and not European markets – while the two 800cc models will likely be based on KTM’s Duke 890 and Adventure 790 .

It’s an interesting step for the off-road focused Spanish brand, which had a substantial percentage of its shares snapped up by KTM earlier this year. The Austrian factory has a proven record of strengthening output from its partners – Husqvarna’s a prime example.
Of course, Husqvarna did already have a bit of a background producing bikes for the road back when it was a part of BMW – while the market’s a completely new avenue for Gas Gas. Either way, it’s going to be really interesting to see the new road bikes when they’re ready for production – which will likely be at the big bike shows towards the end of 2020.
