Ewan McGregor and Charley Boorman have been back on the bikes for their latest TV adventure – the Long Way Up – and this time, they’ve been riding Harley-Davidson’s electric Livewire.

We brought you news of the duo’s new show a few months ago as filming got underway in Ushuaia, in Tiera del Fuego. And around 90 days and 8,000 miles later, they’ve made it to their final destination; Los Angeles.
Ewan and Charley have been caught on camera at a private wrap party at a Harley-Davidson dealership in Los Angeles – after trekking through South and Central America on a pair of £30,000 electric motorcycles (which were kitted out specially for the adventure).
At this stage, there’s been no news to suggest how well the electric H-D’s performed – but they made it, so that’s a fairly decent start. It looks like we’ll have to wait for the show to air for the proper inside scoop – and although dates haven’t been announced yet, we’re expecting it on TV screens fairly early on next year.
