Honda’s Rome based R&D centre has revealed a new concept motorcycle for the fifth year running – and this time, it’s called the CB4X.

Developed under the theme of ‘fun seven days a week’ – the new motorcycle combines elements of Honda’s Sport, Touring and Crossover machines. At this stage, it’s just a concept – but looking at Honda’s track record, there’s no reason we couldn’t see a bike like this a couple of years down the line.
With its dynamic but compact design, and classic inline four-cylinder engine, the CV4X is a good looking machine. It’s futuristic but purposeful with a hunched forward fuel tank, fully adjustable screen which is integrated into the fairing, and a diamond pattern headlight. It’s also kitted out with an aluminium subframe to underpin that short, sharp tail – in addition to a 17-inch front wheel for maximum steering precision.

The futuristic sport tourer’s design is from the imaginative pen of Valerio Aiello, and his team of young designers – and we’re hoping we won’t have to wait too much longer to see this bike making it to market. It looks like a blast.
