Ahead of the official release of the hotly anticipated Aprilia RS 660 at EICMA in a few days’ time – a naked version of the new middleweight has been caught out testing on track. And we reckon it’s the Tuono 660.
Aprilia put the baby Tuono through its paces during a track day at Imola, alongside the new RS 660. And the good folks at Aprilia Cup managed to capture a photo and video of the two machines in action. Click HERE to check out the video on Instagram.
From what we can see, the new 660 is in keeping with the Tuono we’ve come to know and love. It’s got a similar headlight and flyscreen, higher bars, and the rear end looks much the same too.

At this stage, there’s no official information about the new Tuono 660, but it’s more than likely that it’ll be slightly less powerful than its full-faired RS 660 sibling. Not by much though. And it’ll probably be a little cheaper than the RS 660 too.
This is the first we’ve heard about the Tuono 660 – but we’re optimistic we’ll get a proper look at the new Tuono 660 at EICMA in a few days’ time, even if it isn’t officially released until 2021.
HERE’S A LOOK AT THE VIDEO TEASER FOR THE NEW APRILIA RS 660.
