OFFICIAL documents confirm that TWO new Ducati Scramblers are on the way.

According to EPA documents that have been filed in the States, Ducati’s going to be adding two new Scramblers to its line-up for 2020.

Since its introduction in 2014, the Ducati Scrambler has gone from strength to strength to become the best-selling series in the iconic Italian factories range. And it looks like the Icon, Cafe Racer, Desert Sled, Full Throttle, Sixty2, 1100, 1100 Special, and 1100 Sport are about to be joined by two new models for 2020; the Ducati Scrambler 1100 Pro and Ducati Scrambler 1100 Sport Pro.

The EPA documents confirm that much of Ducati’s 2019 lineup will carry over to 2020 – but the big news is that there’s a new 1100 Pro and 1100 Sport Pro on the way.

Of course, the performance-oriented 1100 Sport is already in the lineup – so the big question is what’s going to be different on the two new machines? Well, the EPA documents actually confirm that the new models share the same 86hp, 1,079cc air-cooled engine as current 1100s – so chances are the new models are going to be slightly more focused, maybe even slightly more serious off-roaders. And it’d make sense, wouldn’t it? Particularly in light of Triumph’s recently released Scrambler 1200…

That’s about as much as we know at the minute – but thankfully we won’t have to wait too much longer to see them in the flesh. The bikes are likely to be unveiled on October 23^rd alongside Ducati’s new Streetfighter V4 and Panigale 959.
