SPY SHOTS: Here’s the real photos of Triumph’s 765 Daytona Moto2-for-the-road bike FINISHED, UNDISGUISED and out in tests!

So here we go then, these are the first photos (ain’t no drawings going on here) of the ACTUAL 765 Daytona from Triumph – the limited-edition motorcycle that will go on sale later this year and be a virtual Moto2 GP machine on the road.

Caught during road tests in Spain ahead of the bike’s official unveiling the bike looks ready to go during its final ride-out.

Basically, this motorcycle is the British firm’s 765 motor squeezed into the 675 Daytona chassis. It gets Ohlins NIX30 forks, radial Brembo Stylema calipers as used on Ducati’s Panigale V4 and these photos show that the bike won’t get the semi-active suspension (the rear Ohlins TTX strut can be seen and look the same as on the Daytona 675R).

The Street Triple RS motor makes 123bhp and 77Nm but in track-prepped Moto2 trim, the unit pumps out over 140bhp (so figure on this bike, in reality, falling somewhere between those figures).

No price yet for the bike from Triumph which will be unveiled to the masses on August 23 at the British GP but we do know that only 765 will be made with one batch going to Europe and Asia and a second being split between the USA and Canada.
