AGV has just revealed its own communications system for its Sportmodular, AX9, K5 S and K6 lids – and it’s been created with the help of Sena, so you can rest assured it is a top bit of kit.
Priced at £249.99, it’s not exactly a cheap bit of kit – particularly if you consider the price of an AGV helmet – but it’s equipped with some seriously sophisticated technology to keep you connected while you’re on the road.
It lets you communicate with up to 4 riders simultaneously, up to a distance of 1.6 km (1.0 mile) away. You make and receive calls, listen to music and hear turn-by-turn GPS instructions straight from your smartphone. It’s also kitted out with a built-in FM radio tuner with station scan and save function.

Even at high speeds, you shouldn’t have any problem hearing what’s coming out of the systems speakers, thanks in part to Sena’s Advanced Noise Control which has been built in to help ensure ambient noise doesn’t interfere with incoming and outgoing audio.
It’s a clever design – slim, stylish and shaped to blend in with your AGV lid. You will need to get your hands on an AGV Intercom Adapter to fit it though. It’ll cost you just over a tenner.
