We’ve told you before that this bike was coming and to be fair, we could waffle on about what we’ve found with these latest patents – but you can see things in these images as well as we can – so let’s keep it brief.
Here’s the new patents that show the upcoming Honda model has a banging six-cylinder motor at its heart and funky, retro-looking clothing on its outer. Size-wise, there’s no indication on the patents of how big the bike would be – but given that Honda has it’s sohc 1,833 horizontally-opposed, liquid-cooled six-cylinder Gold Wing motor already out there, running nicely, wouldn’t it make sense for this to at least leech some of the mechanicals from that? Does that mean that this could be a big old six-cylinder unit driving this thing?
Possibly, but in reality it’s very unlikely that this motor is going to end up being anywhere near the size of its behemoth touring sibling though, but there’s no denying that the cafe racer-styled bike looks more the part than anything we’ve seen so far in the modern retro class. If the bike ends up looking like the designs here then it’s going to be the coolest in the class by miles.
