And you can get a special accessory pack on the launch of the bike that will add £999 to that (but it’ll save you £383 over buying the bolt-ons separately).
Included in the kit is a fly screen, red and black accessory seat, carbon effect front mudguard and engine covers, a protective tank pad, wheel rim tape, and a red top fairing and seat unit decal.
The new Katana – from Italian designer Rodolfo Frascoli – takes styling cues from the original 1980s icon and cult classic, is essentially a 148bhp GSX-S1000 complete with a three-mode traction control system, plus Suzuki’s low-RPM assist function. It’s a lot of bike dressed in cool retro-looks.
