New heat shield ideal for motorcycle fairings

ZircoFlex is the Zircotec’s flexible heat-shield material. It can be easily bent and manipulated, weighs just 0.46kg/m2, and is only 0.25mm thick. It’s being used everywhere from the inside of classic sportsbike fairings (protecting the now rare plastics), to oil-fields in the Caspian Sea.

In a British Standard test for automotive heatshields, a traditional leading 5.25mm thick material reduced surface temperature by 35% at 500°C. The ZircoFlex reduced it by 63%. It’s available in various sizes, formats and thicknesses from just £12 per sheet.
