Jonathan Rea has taken the top spot during the first day of testing at Portimao, keeping up his impressive pre-season pace from Jerez last week.
14 WorldSBK and 10 WordSSP riders are at the Autodromo do Algarve Portimao for the final European winter test ahead of the 2019 Superbike World Championship season kicking off in Australia next month. And after the first day of testing, it’s reigning Champion Jonathan Rea who topped the pile. It was tight at the top though, with the top ten riders all within a second of each other by the end of the day.
It’s the final day of testing at Portimao today, and we’ll be sure to keep you up to date with how it goes. Here are the unofficial times for Day One.
