THIS WEEKEND: Celebrating 100 YEARS of the TT. Meet HUTCHY and the BIRCHALL BROTHERS at the WORLD’S biggest Classic Motorcycle Show.

This year’s Stafford International Classic MotorCycle Show will be celebrating 100 years of the Isle of Man TT – with a raft of top quality guests and rare machinery in attendance. 

Although it was first staged in 1907, two world wars, and the UK foot and mouth epidemic put a temporary stop to racing on the island – and that means that 100 years of TT racing can be celebrated at the 2019 running at the Stafford International Classic MotorCycle Show, which takes place across April 27-28, 2019.

Headlining the impressive list of star guests are current TT stars Ian Hutchinson and Tom and Ben Birchall, who share an impressive 24 TT wins between them – in addition to fan favourite John Cooper and nine-time TT winner Charlie Williams who will be there, along with one of his TT winning Yamahas. Cooper and Williams are both releasing new books at the event, and will be signing copies for fans throughout the weekend. Not forgetting its classic roots, the star line-up will include former Honda factory team-mates from the Sixties, Tommy Robb and Jim Redman.

Running the stage sessions will be the show’s resident compere, Lincolnshire ace and two-time TT winner Steve Plater. He’ll be joined by flying Scot (and fellow two-time TT winner) Alex George.
Of course the TT isn’t all about the riders – and so there will be a display of 10 genuine TT machines from yesteryear, including a 1926 AJS GR10, which finished third in that year’s TT in the hands of Frank Longman; an ex-HG Tyrell-Smith 1932 works Rudge, which also finished third in that year’s Junior TT race; a minuscule 50cc Honda CR110, a three-cylinder MV Agusta, a 1984 Ducati TT2 with TT history and an ex-Joey Dunlop RC45.

Now in its 39th year, the Carole Nash International Classic MotorCycle Show has already received hundreds of bookings from traders, clubs and exhibitors, with organisers working hard to deliver another stellar event. Deemed to be the largest classic bike show in the world, thousands of visitors flock to Stafford County Showground every year from all corners of the UK and Europe. It’s a must-attend event for any motorcycle enthusiast.
