Speaking at an event at the University of Bologna, CEO of Ducati Claudio Domenicali (below) gave the clearest indication yet that we will have an official electric Ducati – and it’ll appear ‘soon’.
Reported first by the Italian site, Corsedimoto.com, the Ducati big boss said: “The future is electric . We are not far from starting production of the series,” as he and others sat on a platform discussing merits of engineering and design with students at the University local to the Ducati brand.
Domenicali and others were talking about the recent electric race bike built by the University of Bologna’s Racing Team as part of an evening at the University.
