We’ve just been sent this beautiful short documentary which follows the life of an essential group of volunteers for the UK’s National Health Service; the Blood Bikers. As part of its work, voluntary riders carry much needed medical supplies, including blood, vital organs and even baby’s milk around the U.K.

Directed by David Hayes in association with Contra, a production company in London – the short documentary pays tribute to the “Blood Bikers”, blending interviews and dynamic riding footage, creating an intimate portrait of the men and women who criss-cross the country on motorcycles on life-saving errands.
