Following the surge of motorcycle and scooter thefts over the last couple of years, a group of bikers in Bristol are taking direction action, using social media to track down nicked bikes and reunite them with their owners. And the BBC has spent some time with group, creating a short documentary about its efforts.
Home Office figures predict a total of 30,000 motorbikes will be reported stolen this year – but only around 12,000 will be recovered. That’s why a group of bikers in Bristol have joined forces to try and track down the stolen machines and get them back to their owners.
