Since KTM’s prototype KTM 790 Adventure R was unveiled at EICMA 2017 – the web has been awash with rumours, spy shots, videos and supposed technical information of the Austrian brands latest adventure machine. And now, a technical card that’s doing the rounds in the Italian motorcycle media shows us what to expect ahead of the bikes official unveiling.
As you can see in the official-looking KTM document – the new 790 Adventure R will feature fully adjustable WP suspension, spoked 21” front and 18” rear wheels, an 880mm seat height and off-road oriented ergonomics. Plus it comes with an advanced off-road riding mode, in addition to a TFT instrument panel which can be can connect to a smartphone using the ‘KTM my Ride’ app.

Of course, we already had a good idea of what the new KTM 790 Adventure R would look like – given the countless spy photos of it caught out testing, in addition to being unveiled to 150 members of the public during the European Adventure Rally. And it would seem that leaked catalogue confirms our initial thoughts. Basically, it looks awesome.
Now we’ve just got to wait for its official unveiling. It’ll either come to Intermot in Cologne in under a weeks’ time – or it’ll be heading over to EICMA in Milan in November. Either way, we can’t wait to see it in the flesh.
