MotoGP maestros Marc Márquez and Dani Pedrosa were joined by motocross champ Tony Cairoli at the Red Bull Ring in Austria – and the trio swapped two wheels for four, taking the chance to put in a hot lap in a Formula One motor. It’s been a gradual process to get the lads to this stage. First they took a spin in a simulator at Red Bull Racing HQ in the UK, before finally getting the chance to fly round the Red Bull Ring in Austria. And it was Pedrosa who came out on top, clocking a 1.13.662, over 0.8 seconds quicker than Marquez, who put in a 1.14.608 – with Cairoli a few seconds behind with a time of 1.17.843.
