New Rukka AirMan jacket designed for hot AND cold climates

The new ‘AirMan’ from Rukka is a motorcycle jacket claimed to be as comfortable to wear in the chilly and damp regions of Germany as in the midday heat of Andalusia.

For more than a decade, the Rukka AirPower concept that basically gives you two jackets in one has proven its worth now. Worn without the detachable inner jacket, it makes for a cooling stream of air through the knitted material of the outer jacket to the wearer’s body – vastly adding to comfort and active safety alike at high temperatures. You will find this “t-shirt feel” at Rukka only because only the Finnish manufacturer’s AirPower products are made completely from the extremely air-permeable and very soft Cordura AFT knitwear. Passive safety ist still assured – because of Cordura AFT’s high abrasion resistance, because of reinforcements where it counts and because of the CE certified Rukka D3O Air joint protectors, which are very comfortable while multiplying their protection in an instant when an impact occurs.

When worn with the inner jacket AirMan perfectly protects the wearer from cold and precipitation. The inner jacket not only features a durably wind- and waterproof as well as highly breathable Gore-Tex climate membrane. It also boasts the sophisticated temperature-regulating Outlast material. The The AirMan’s collar is made from soft, skin-friendly neoprene and features a magnet closure. Sleeve and waist adjusters ensure a perfect fit of the jacket. Several pockets – some of them waterproof – offer space for the wallet, mobile phone and other necessities.

The AirMan jacket is available in Titan/Black and Black with HiVis yellow applications in sizes 46 through 66. You can combine the AirMan perfectly with the AirVision trousers, available in an even greater range of sizes: with regular leg length in sizes 46 through 62, with shorter legs in sizes 48 through 66, and with longer legs in sizes 48 through 58.
