So if you fancy buying the Ducati Panigale V4 S that Troy Bayliss competed on in last weekend’s Race of Champions at Word Ducati Week then there’s good and bad news… the good news is there’s still three and a bit days to go to place your bid on Ebay, the bad news is that the bike is already topping Euro 120,000. Eek.

That’s £106,688! For a Panigale V4 S. £106,688.
Each bike that took part in the race is being sold off. As you’d expect, the Panigales have a host of race kit parts bolted on to them, a commemorative plaque fitted and each rider signed their bike before the race.
All is not lost though, you can still buy one of the others bikes used in the race. Jorge Lorenzo’s Panigale V4 S is much more wallet friendly for instance, that’ll cost you ‘just’ Euro 41,550… £39,947 (at the moment, there’s also three and a bit days left on the bidding).
If you want to up the Italian ante, there’s Andrea Dovizioso’s bike going for, right now, Euro 45,100 – a shade over £40,000. Which is a nice amount, but it aint no Troy Bayliss figure, is it?
