Suzuki has announced details of its new RM-Z250 MX2-machine for 2019 – taking cues from its RM-Z450 big brother.
The RM-Z250 gets an all-new frame and swingarm, optimising rigidity and improving handling, along with a new rear shock and updated front forks. There’s a new front brake setup with a bigger disk for stopping, new Dunlop tyres to enhance grip.

The new chassis – complete with newly designed plastics – is wrapped around a heavily updated engine. The 2019 RM-Z250 makes more power and torque than the previous incarnation, and also gets the newest version of Suzuki’s Holeshot Assist Control and improved traction management system, changes to the exhaust, and revised gear ratio.
The Suzuki RM-Z250 is expected to arrive early next year, with more information being revealed in due course.
