Built from the bones of a Ducati Monster – custom house XTR Pepo has created a beautiful Ulster Desmo, which pays homage to the history of road racing, and Mike Hailwood’s 900SS from 1978.
Using a 2001 Monster 750 as a base – while drawing inspiration from Ducati’s iconic racing history – is the perfect way for XTR Pepo to celebrate the Monster’s 25th anniversary for 2018.

Getting into specifics, the Ducati Ulster utilises the chassis and twin-engine engine of the Monster 750 – and that’s about it. XTR Pepo have added a Ducati 749 R fuel tank with level finder and keyless stopper, there’s Derbi headlights, new handlebars, Aviacompositi instruments, updated brake hoses, Ducati ST2 brake and clutch pumps, Andreani fork cartridges, a YSS rear shock absorber, adjustable S&P footrests, a Wolfman 2-1 collector with Spark silencer, DNA filters, a Domino fast accelerator, and an XTR designed rear light. In short, it’s had a major overhaul – and we reckon it looks all the better for it.
