MOREBIKES FOR SALE: 1988 Yamaha XT600Z TENERE

A tidy Yamaha XT600Z Tenere from the late 80’s has just popped up on our MoreBikesForSale classifieds section for three and a half grand – and we just had to share it with you.

For the uninitiated, the Tenere is Yamaha’s iconic, single cylinder big trailie that was first introduced back in the 80’s – but is still going strong today. This particular model, is one of the first electric start Tenere’s from 1988 and was imported from Italy back in 2006.

Of course, the bike has the usual age related marks you’d expect to see on an unrestored 30 year old motorcycle – but it’s pretty minor, from some marks on the plastics and a few blemishes on the paintwork. But when you look at other Tenere’s on the market, the bike looks to be in comparatively excellent condition – and it’s packed with a range of extras too.

We’ve had a bit of a scout around online, and although there are a couple of slightly rougher bikes available for marginally less money, there’s nothing quite like this specced-up XT600Z Tenere on the market. To check out the full listing, click HERE.
