Team Mugen has confirmed it’ll be competing in the 2018 TT Zero races – with Bruce Anstey, John McGuinness and Lee Johnston riding its all-new Shinden NANA.
The Japan-based bike builders have dominated the Zero TT over the past few years – and 2018 is sure to be no different, with Mugen fielding a (very strong) three-rider line-up and an updated machine.

Admittedly, the figures we’ve seen for the new Mugen Nana are identical to that of the outgoing Shinden Roku – but there are a few notable changes to help make this year’s machine even better than ever. It comes with a new front cowl, which works to offer better cooling efficiency, while its newly designed side and rear cowls help to improve the bikes aerodynamics. And of course, Showa and Nissin will be returning for 2018 too, providing top-spec suspension and braking equipment.
It’s set to be a really interesting Zero TT this year, with Anstey, McGuinness and Johnston all vying for first place on the same machine, while trying to nail the first 120mph lap on an electric superbike. We can’t wait.
