Arai has just unveiled two new models to honour Nicky Hayden, following his tragic death earlier this year. The two helmets show off the graphics that the MotoGP World Champion wore during his last season in the Superbike World Championship.
Speaking to the American press, Nicky’s brother Tommy Hayden said, “Nicky was always very proud of his relationship with Arai. He spent a lot of time and many contributions in his designs.” Arai released a statement saying, “we felt it was right to continue with Nicky’s replicas to keep his legacy alive, especially for his many fans.”
