When we showed you the first images and video of the finished TVS Apache RR 310 (the bike powered by the BMW motor… it’s the upcoming BMW S310RR mini-superbike in different clothes because BMW and Indian company TVS have been working together to develop this exquisite piece of tiny-bike tech), we didn’t have a price – well now we do.

TVS is selling the bike in India for 2.05 lakh rupees which converts to an eye-opening £2,317. Yep, that cheap.
OK, so this is just a straight conversion price to UK poundage for the 34bhp, 170kg (wet) bike complete with ABS, an LCD dash, LED lights, ByBre (Brembo) brakes and KYB suspension – fitted bike, but still… wouldn’t it be great if BMW slapped its badge on the bike (it will), painted it like the S1000RR superbike (it will) and bring it out over here for £2,500-ish? (It probably won’t).
We can’t wait for this motorcycle to appear over here in the BMW flesh. What do you reckon to it?
